Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Machinist and Cutter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and cutting techniques, with additional skills in warehouse operations and sewing. Duties
- Operate various machining equipment to cut and shape materials according to detailed specifications
- Perform precise measurements and adjustments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Utilise sewing skills for assembling or finishing components as required
- Maintain organisation and cleanliness within the workspace, adhering to safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse organisation, including stock replenishment and storage
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making necessary adjustments or rework if needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly
Experience
- Proven experience as a Machinist and Cutter in a manufacturing or workshop environment
- Strong knowledge of machining tools, cutting techniques, and measurement instruments
- Warehouse experience is desirable, demonstrating familiarity with stock handling and organisation
- Sewing experience is advantageous, particularly in assembling or finishing textile components
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is essential
