TFM is offering a rare opportunity to join our customer delivery team, specialising in the use of a new DAF 18t truck with rear mounted crane, based out of our store at Burton Dassett, near Banbury.
We are one of the original and largest farm and country stores in the UK, with more than 40 years’ experience in the supply of farming equipment and agricultural supplies to farms and small holdings across the country. We sell a huge range of products covering the farming, construction, DIY, pet, gardening and countryside sectors.
We are a family-run business with a very flat management structure, enabling our store management teams to feed directly into the running of the business on a regular basis. We pride ourselves on a no-nonsense approach to sales and fair-play customer service policy.
We are seeking a skilled HGV driver to join our team to deliver goods from our stores direct to our customers farms, sites and homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the loading and for delivering goods in a timely and efficient manner, whilst demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Duties:- Perform daily checks on the vehicle, report in to store management teams to facilitate delivery to our customers, supervise loading, plan delivery routes and work with our buying team to aid with stock movements around the branches.
Qualifications:- Proven experience as an HGV class 2 or 1 driver. Crane/HIAB and FLT licences would be an advantage, but we can provide training for these.
The successful candidate will:

- Be a team player who is positive and motivated with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Ideally have at least 2 years’ of proven experience from a similar fast-paced environment.
