Job Title: Motorhome Vehicle Mechanic
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Motorhome Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorhomes. The role requires experience with vehicle mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on motorhomes.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, braking, steering, and suspension faults.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and roadworthiness checks.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Replace defective components and perform repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
- Communicate repair requirements and costs with service advisor.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience as a motor vehicle technician.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (Category C1 desirable but not essential).
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) are preferred.
Desirable Experience:
- Welding, fabrication, or body repair experience.
- Air conditioning servicing certification.
Personal Attributes:
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to learn new technologies.
- Organised with good time management skills.
Working Conditions:
- Workshop-based.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
- PPE provided, with adherence to all health and safety procedures.

Salary:
- Starting from £30,000 per year, negotiable depending on experiance.
