Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sandwich Maker to join our team on Sundays and provide cover shifts as needed. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and delivering excellent service to our customers. Your energy and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure every guest leaves satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety standards and hygiene protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, counters, and storage spaces
- Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service
- Assist with meal preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling ingredients, and packaging sandwiches
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Support team members during busy periods by helping with additional food prep or serving duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including sandwich assembly and ingredient handling
- Familiarity with kitchen safety practices and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks during shifts
- A passion for culinary arts and delivering high-quality meals in a timely manner
Pay: £12.50 per hour
