We’re looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic **Kitchen Porter** to join our energetic team in a busy kitchen environment. In this role, you’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by supporting chefs and cooks with day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with the preparation of food items (particularly starters).
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times.
- Wash and properly store dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Handle deliveries and ensure food supplies are stored safely and correctly.
- Provide support during busy service periods as directed by the kitchen team.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards to maintain a secure work environment.
- Carry out any additional duties requested by kitchen management.
Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is an advantage, but not required—we welcome enthusiastic learners.
- Basic understanding of food preparation or kitchen practices is helpful.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team, even under pressure.
- Good organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
Pay: National Minimum Wage (rate dependent on age).
