Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented 2D & 3D Designer to join our creative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative design concepts, producing accurate technical drawings, and visualising projects across various platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects within architecture, construction, and graphic design sectors, contributing to both aesthetic and functional aspects of our clients’ visions. Duties
- Create detailed 2D drawings and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and ArchiCAD.
- Develop comprehensive 3D models with programmes including SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SolidWorks, and 3ds Max.
- Develop comprehensive 3D Render with programmes including Vray, D5, Enscape.
- Visualise concepts through high-quality graphic design and rendering techniques to communicate ideas effectively.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications and client expectations.
- Utilise construction experience to produce feasible designs that adhere to safety standards and building codes.
- Support the realisation of projects from initial concept through to detailed design stages by providing innovative solutions.
- Maintain organised digital files of all drawings, models, and schematics for easy access and revision control.Skills
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, ArtiCAD or similar CAD programmes, Vray, D5 render, Enscape.
- Strong understanding of system design principles and construction processes.
- Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is advantageous.
- Ability to produce accurate schematics and technical drawings for construction or manufacturing purposes.
- Knowledge of architectural or engineering standards relevant to CAD drafting and modelling.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Creative flair combined with a practical understanding of structural integrity and material properties.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
