Job Overview
Brothers Drinks Co. is the home of Brothers Cider, and we're growing. As production ramps up at our Mill site, we're creating two brand new Materials Coordinator roles to make sure our ingredients and packaging are always where they need to be, accurately tracked, properly checked, and ready for production.
What you'll be doing
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our supply chain. You'll be the person who makes sure what comes in matches what's on the paperwork, what goes back is accounted for, and what's sitting in the warehouse is exactly what the system says it is.
Day to day, you'll:
· Check off ingredients and packaging as they arrive on shunts from our Anglo site, making sure quantities and condition match what's expected
· Log deliveries and stock movements accurately and in real time on our system (D365)
· Keep stock records for ingredients and packaging spot-on, not just logging numbers, but owning them
· Manage the return of unused ingredients and packaging, getting it right first time
· Spot and flag any discrepancies quickly, working with colleagues to sort them out
· Give the production team a heads-up if anything's running low, before it becomes a problem
· Take part in stock counts to keep everything accurate
What we're looking for
· Experience working in a warehouse, stores, or stock control role, manufacturing or food and drink experience is a bonus
· Comfortable using computer systems to log stock (experience with D365 or a similar system is great, but we can teach you this)
· A methodical, careful approach, you notice when numbers don't add up
· Confidence to flag issues and work with colleagues at another site to sort them out
· Able to work the 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern (07:00–19:00), covering days across a 7-day operation
· Starting rate of £15.22 per hour inclusive of shift premium
Why join us
· Join a well-known, growing Somerset drinks business
· A genuinely important role, you'll be fixing a long-standing problem, not just filling a gap
Join us as a Materials Co-ordinator if you're ready to energize our supply chain processes through innovative thinking and meticulous execution!
