JMP Wilcox, a local company based in Bilston is a leading textile recycling company committed to sustainability and the responsible global movement of recycled textiles and reusable clothing. We work with businesses and charities to give textiles a second life while reducing waste and environmental impact. Our export operations service customers across West and East Africa, Pakistan, India, UAE and Europe.
We are inviting expressions of interest from reliable and hardworking people to join our bank team of staff to support with casual hours over the summer period.
We have summer seasonal work starting July 2026 until the end of September 2026
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience within a fast-paced textile recycling environment.
As a Textile Operative your duties will include
· Assisting with the handling, sorting and processing of textile materials
· Carrying out quality checks to ensure standards are met
· Maintaining a clean and organised work area
· Always following health and safety procedures
· Achieve daily production targets
Who we are looking for
· Motivated and dependable individuals
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Good attention to detail
· Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
· Ability to work in a physically active role
· Able to work at short notice or a regular shift of 6am – 2pm (Monday – Friday)
Able to understand basic instructions in English and follow health and safety guidlines
No prior experience is needed – just a positive attitude and willingness to be part of a great team.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend our induction morning at the end of June 2026
Pay: £12.71 per hour
