We are recruiting a kitchen assistant who would also be trained to stand in for the chef (making simple meals) to cover annual leave.

Requirements
- Experience preferred
- Experience in a care home kitchen preferred
Responsibilities for
- You will be provided training by the Head Chef and Head of Support Services to be a KP for the Chef. This will involve helping to prep and present food. You will need to be aware of the residents dietary needs including consistency of food e.g. providing puried food if swallow is an issue. Loading the dishwasher and washing pot and pans. Keeping the Kitchen clean. You will assist with the tea and snack trolley. You will assist with unpacking food orders. Further enhanced training to step in for the chef, including preparing simple meals.
