Job Description –
Main Activities/tasks:
Provide concierge service at determined premises
· Complete a shift handover at the start and end of every shift with staff member coming on duty
· Liaise with the Care and Housing Officer on a weekly basis to discuss any new information or staff related issues
· Attend monthly team Concierge meetings coordinated by the care and Housing Officer
· Check Fire sheets to ensure residents are signing in and out
· Provide physical security and monitor CCTV throughout your shift
· Ensure building health and safety requirements are met
· Incident management and emergency services liaise with on call manager
· Ensure building security (doors and windows secure etc.)
· Complete safe and wellbeing check each evening and ensure all interactions with residents are recorded on Person Centred Software via handsets or phones
· Ensure that the communal areas and exterior of building are kept clean and presentable
· Report and record any maintenance issues in the communication book/maintenance sheets
· Attend mandatory training and complete 15 Care Standards – (Skills for Care)
· Attend all supervisions and appraisals when required.
Special requirements (tools and equipment used, external contacts etc.)
· Driving licence
· Good communication skills
· Literacy ability to complete handover sheets, person centred software and incident forms
