Job description
The successful applicant will be joining the team of a well established maintenance company and working alongside MRC Estate & Letting Agents who are a multi-award winning Agency. Due to expansion we require additional multiskilled employees for the maintenance and refurbishment of residential properties.
We require a hard working individual capable of working on their own when appropriate, experienced in all aspects of property repair and maintenance, knowledge of the Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS) would be an advantage.
Working from our stylish City Centre Office with first-class facilities and secure parking we require a competent self-starter with the trade skills required to competently and professionally address areas of property maintenance and repair to ensure the consistent delivery of a high-quality service.
Main duties (but not limited to)
- Undertake pre (and post) inspections of a variety of property repairs and larger refurbishments.
- Complete written reports and quotes, providing detailed professional advice to the client along with 'before' photographs.
- Complete all works to a professional standard and take 'after' photos.
- Ensure all Health and Safety policy, regulations and procedures are adhered to.
- As and when required liaise with external contractors to deliver on time repairs, value for money, and both landlord and tenant satisfaction.

Experience required: -
Trade skills as detailed and property repair/maintenance experience.
The applicant must be competent in most skills required for essential property maintenance and repair such as:
- Building & Plastering - Essential
- Joinery & Kitchen fitting
- Painting & Decorating
- Tiling, Bathrooms, Plumbing
- Window/Door fitting
Must have excellent administration skills, and at all times provide a high-quality service. Salary level is dependent on skill level, qualifications and experience.
Driving License required. Vehicle provided or your own can be used with a contribution made by the company towards the costs.
This is a permanent position for the successful person who will be working for a group which has traded for over 30 years. All enquiries will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
