Job Overview:
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Part-Time bar staff to join our team at the Hawkhill Tavern.
We are a drinks only venue, and we are looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, friendly with customers and able to work well in a busy Environment
Duties:
Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks
Taking payments and till operation
Following licensing and responsible service requirements
Working effectively as part of a team
Being confident working independently when required
Being confident and capable of closing the pub on their own on occasions
Completing end-of-night duties, including cleaning, cashing up and securing the premises
Helping to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years bar experience
Confident and competent working behind a busy bar
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Friendly and approachable with customers
Able to work as part of a team
Comfortable and confident working alone when required
Able to take responsibility for running and closing the pub independently on occasion
Good communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to help the wider team
Working Pattern:
Primarily Weekend Shifts
Occasional midweek shifts
Flexibility to work independently when required
What we are looking for:
We're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and confident behind the bar. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working as part of a team but also have the confidence and responsibility to run and close the bar independently when required.
