Updown is a magical former farmstead with acres of beautiful garden and woodland situated just outside Deal, Kent.
Now being run as a small hotel and restaurant, we’re looking for kitchen team-members to join us in delivering a friendly, intimate service with a keen attention to quality and detail at this exciting juncture.

What you’ll be doing as a CDP: Being driven by an innate passion for produce & cooking, being creative, working hard, supporting the wider kitchen team, owning your section & taking pride in a job well done.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the kitchen lead
- Delivering a consistently prompt and efficient service
- Lead in the smooth and efficient running of your section
- Ensure stock, deliveries and wastage are checked and recorded
- Setting up and closing down before and after service
- Project a willing and helpful attitude to colleagues & customers

We’re set in a rural location, so your own car or reliable alternative is required.
Weekend working required.
