Description:
WHO WE ARE
AVI-SPL is a digital enablement solutions provider who transforms how people and technology connect to elevate experiences, create new value, and enable organizations to thrive and grow. We are the largest provider of collaboration technology solutions, which include our award-winning managed services.
Our highly certified industry experts and innovation leaders share a vision to help people work smarter and live better. We believe that success starts with a sound team and that an inclusive and diverse workplace moves us all forward.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating and implementing innovative HR solutions that prioritize employee engagement, satisfaction, user experience, and productivity. You will be a valued partner and work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable product features and strategies.
This role will support core HR and payroll platforms (such as UKG Pro and Deel Payroll, EOR, Time Off and Time Tracking) to help with enhancements, configuration and break fixes that are part of our product portfolio. The successful candidate will own the lifecycle of technical change while partnering with key stakeholders through to successful completion. The role will have a particular focus on the operational effectiveness of global payroll platforms, ensuring HRIS and payroll systems, data and processes remain aligned.
The position can be located either in the USA or UK (Farnborough, Hampshire). This role is predominantly remote, with some occasional travel to a centralized office as required.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
-
Collaborate with HR leaders, IT professionals, Payroll, Finance, local HR teams and business stakeholders to understand and prioritize product requirements and strategic objectives.
- You will work with Product Owners to project manage, support, and drive the development and implementation of HR and payroll software solutions, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines – in collaboration with other key stakeholders.
- Drive the development of self-service tools and process automation capabilities to streamline HR processes, reduce administrative burdens, and empower employees to manage their own HR needs.

- With the assistance of stakeholders and vendors, configure and build changes as required in HR and payroll platforms to support enhancements and break-fixes while following the core principles for HRIS delivery and change management.
- You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a security matrix for core HRIS and payroll platforms and ensuring adherence and regular audits of security roles and permissions are completed.
- Champion data compliance, HRIS/platform upgrades, payroll controls and best practices to the organization and ensure that training is implemented as needed.
- Manage inquiries and requests related to payroll/HRIS systems, which may require research, analysis or advanced technical support with vendors to address questions presented by stakeholders and/or outside agency representatives.
- Coordinate payroll-platform support tickets, vendor escalations and system defects through to resolution, identifying recurring issues and supporting root-cause resolution.
- Support post-go-live hypercare and ongoing operational administration for countries using global payroll platforms, working with local HR and Payroll teams to progress issues, data validation and agreed actions.
- Maintain alignment between HRIS and payroll platforms, including identifying required HRIS fields, reports and data changes and supporting interfaces, APIs, SFTP/file feeds or other integrations required for accurate downstream payroll processing.
- Ad hoc support for M/A activity partnering with third-party payroll vendors to set up payroll and integrate HRIS/HR systems.
- Support administration and oversight of payroll-platform and EOR invoices, working with Finance, Payroll and vendors to resolve discrepancies, credits and payment-related issues.
- May facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Prepare reports for senior management.
- This position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours due to time zone differences.
- Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned, including broader HRIS, payroll-platform, data and HR technology initiatives as priorities evolve.
