Norwood House is a well-established care home based in Gunness, North Lincolnshire that provides care and support to a range of clients across our network. In the position of Maintenance Person you will play an important role in the upkeep and overall maintenance of both Norwood House and our sister home The Grange. Undertaking work as directed by the home manager, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.To be considered for this role applicants must have:Experience of interior/exterior building maintenance & gardening in a work setting.
Plumbing and electrical skills are necessary and you must be willing to undertake small building projects in a care home setting. Ideally you should have previous experience in a Caretaker/Maintenance role, have good health and safety knowledge and good interpersonal skills.The ability to work unsupervised, organise and prioritise workload. Full valid driving licence with no endorsements and use of own vehicle would also be advantageous. The position is subject to satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check.
