You will be responsible for around 10 vat returns per quarter. All on sage. Ensuring all the paperwork is available and processed ready for submission to HMRC
Experience required in all Book-keeping duties including processing sales and purchases, bank reconciliation, journals, management accounts, CIS Returns and intermediary returns is essential as you will also be responsible for a weekly book-keeping role.
You will be liasing with clients daily
You would be responsible for at least 30 weekly/monthly payroll, so you must be able to use sage payroll and fully understand HMRC payroll rules, pensions and SMP etc
Ideally we would like somebody Monday-Friday but we can be flexible
3 year experience working in an accountancy practice is essential as limited training will be given
