We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out manual and machine based drainage clearance, maintaining drainage systems to ensure efficient water management. This role requires a strong understanding of Drainage principles as well as hands-on skills in the plumbing trade.
Duties
- Carry out drain clearance external and internal using HPWJ machinery.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing drainage conditions and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with other engineers and construction teams to ensure proper installation of drainage systems.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools,
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on drainage systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress, compliance, and technical specifications.
- Carry out CCTV surveying with specialist equipment
- Carry out patch repairs with qualified training
- All of the above require mandatory training certificates.
Skills
- WJA Training
- plumbing knowledge needed for removal of WC and basins where required.
- Strong plumbing knowledge to address issues related to water flow and drainage systems.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling materials or equipment on-site.
- CCTV training and understanding of the drainage network both domestic and commercial
