We are seeking someone with a commitment to improving mental health outcomes through meaningful service user involvement to join us as Quality and Improvement Manager. Working closely with the Director of Services, you will lead our Quality and Improvement Team; revising, developing and managing the organisation’s quality assurance and improvement strategy and policies, coproduction strategy and policy and complaints management.
If you are enthusiastic about working in a mental health organisation, working to improve systems and process to promote positive outcomes for the people we work with as well as our staff, this could be the role for you. You will:
- Develop and deliver an effective quality assurance and quality improvement strategy
- Oversee the Quality Assurance Manager to deliver Quality Audits and monitor service improvement plans
- Support our quality work in partnerships with other organisations
- Support operational managers, ensuring issues identified through operational performance reports are identified, understood by managers and improvement plans developed and implemented.
- Work with the Director of Services and Facilities Manager to oversee and monitor the health and safety plan for the organisation.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the Operations Management Team, Service Quality Committee and Health and Safety Forum
Location: Bristol and the South West (hybrid office and home working)
Salary: £43,800
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

You will:

- be a confident leader able to collaborate and influence with a range of stakeholders
- be committed to staying up to date with relevant legislation and practices affecting services supporting people using mental health services
- be committed to the highest standards of safeguarding, and providing support and advice to colleagues
- have the ability and motivation to work with a Recovery focused and Psychological, Adversity and Trauma informed approach
- be confident communicating with a wide range services users and staff
