The Role:
As a lead carer during the night, you will be responsible for the safety and clinical stability of a child with complex needs. Your duties include:
- Advanced Clinical Care: Managing Tracheostomy care, BiPAP, and Oxygen monitoring Op suction.
- Nutritional Support: Managing PEG/JEG feeding and medication administration.
- Emergency Management: Monitoring for seizures and administering rescue medication/emergency care as required.
- Professional Advocacy: Building strong, trusting relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
