Our lovely practice, Malthouse Vets, is on the hunt for the rare mythical creature otherwise known as an experienced RVN.

How will we do it?
1. Paying you properly – £15.50 per hour.
2. Valuing your time properly – if (and it really doesn’t happen very often) you don’t get a lunch break, you’ll get TOIL back. If your birthday falls on a working day, you’ll get a paid day off.
3. Giving you autonomy AND support – we’re looking for someone to work alongside our other RVNs to help drive our progressive practice forward, while working with three experienced vets (including one Certificate Holder in Small Animal Medicine). We have a fantastic team of support staff, and our size and location mean we’re truly part of the local community.
4. LISTENING TO YOU – we’re a small, hands-on leadership team that promotes and supports continuous personal growth. Most importantly, we genuinely listen to the ideas and changes our team suggests and, where possible, put them into action.
Practical bits:
* Circa 27.5 hours per week, with some flexibility
* Spread over 4 days
* 1 in 5 Saturdays (8:30am–12:00pm)
* No on-call
* £1,000 annual CPD allowance
* Initially a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. We’re being completely transparent about that, but there is a very good chance of a permanent role being available at the end for the right person.
