Dental Hygienist – Maternity Cover until March/April 2027

Hours: Thursday: 8.30am-5pm, Friday: 8am-2.30pm
Location: White House Dental, Bushey Heath, WD23 1GG
We are looking for an experienced Self-Employed, Part-time Dental Hygienist, to join our practice and support our wonderful dental team . We are a well-established fully private practice in Bushey Heath.
Key responsibilities & duties:
- Understand the brand message of the practice and deliver outstanding patient experiences.
- Educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance of diet on oral health
- Removing plaque, cleaning teeth, and helping to prevent gum disease.
- Supporting the Dentist in all aspects of dental care
- Charting dental conditions based on observations and evaluation
Academic or trade qualifications:
- GDC registration: Dental Hygienist
- IT literate, knowledge of the SOE practice management system would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to provide a portfolio of documented evidence of CPD attained
- Hepatitis B immunization
Work experience and skills:
- CQC and Compliance familiarity
- Pleasant personality and good communication skills
- Passionate and committed
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience
