At Pine Rivers Kindergarten, we've been caring for local children for over 55 years. We're an independent, family-run nursery with a reputation for providing exceptional care, strong relationships and a genuine sense of community.
We're looking for an experienced Baby Room Leader to oversee our under-2s provision, supporting two small, nurturing rooms caring for just 9 babies and 7 toddlers.
You'll be supported by two Deputy Room Leaders and a team of experienced practitioners, giving you the opportunity to focus on leading practice, developing your team and creating outstanding experiences for children and families.
This is a role for someone who is passionate about attachment-led care, values quality over box-ticking and wants to make a real difference during the most important stage of a child's development.

The Role
As Baby Room Leader, you will:
- Lead our under-2s provision and support your team to deliver exceptional care
- Create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where babies and toddlers can thrive
- Mentor, coach and develop practitioners, including our Deputy Room Leaders
- Build strong partnerships with families
- Plan meaningful learning experiences in line with the EYFS
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and regulatory compliance
- Drive continuous improvement across the provision
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Level 3 childcare qualification (or recognised equivalent)
- Experience working with children under 2 in a nursery setting
- Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and childcare legislation
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Experience using Famly or a similar online learning journal
