Overview
We are seeking an experienced Front of House team member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a background in restaurant service. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or culinary environments is highly desirable. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently to optimise seating arrangements
- Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all dishes are presented attractively
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain efficient service flow
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service roles
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving procedures
- Experience with food preparation and basic culinary skills is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transaction purposes
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience preferred but not essential
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
