Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling materials, managing stock, and supporting various logistical functions. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with heavy lifting and has experience with warehouse management systems.
Duties
- Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
- Perform picking and packing tasks to fulfil customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Maintain stock levels by monitoring inventory and reporting discrepancies as needed.
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements and manage stock effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in the warehouse environment.
- Participate in regular stock takes and assist with maintaining an organised workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems,
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 18 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail when picking, packing, and managing stock.
- Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
