Duties
- Supervise and support nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs
- Coordinate daily routines, including playtime, meals, naps, and learning sessions, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the day
- Monitor health and safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure environment for children and staff
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities
- Lead by example in implementing early childhood education best practices and maintaining professional standards
- Assist in planning age-appropriate curriculum activities that stimulate curiosity and foster learning
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and company policies at all times
Skills
- Proven management and leadership abilities within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding of early childhood development
- Strong communication skills in English to liaise confidently with parents, staff, and external partners
- Knowledge of nursery procedures, health & safety standards, and early childhood education principles
- Ability to motivate and guide a team while maintaining a positive work environment
- Experience with childcare documentation and record-keeping
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation duties or outreach activities
