We are recruiting for a Catering Supervisor who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will work in close liaison with the Food Production Team to deliver a high quality, cost effective and efficient service consistently for patients, visitors and staff.
To cater for ad-hoc functions as required. As Catering Supervisor you would be responsible for the security of the department with the opening and locking up of the retail areas ensuring all equipment has been turned off.
The post holder will be responsible for providing staff with supervision, direction and support in the service of retail products for patients, staff, and visitors to the hospital.

Supervise the team to prepare, order, cook, store and serve food for staff, and visitors to the retail outlets.
Co-ordinate with the Food Production Manager to ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained, ensuring the allocation of staff duties always meets the needs of the service and work specifications.
To provide staff with supervision, direction and support in the preparation and service of retail units.
Always maintain and monitor good levels of customer service both internally and externally.
Ensure that stock and staffing levels are kept within budget as set by the Food production Manager.
Comply with Food Safety Management System, HACCP and COSHH.
