At our site in Berwick Upon Tweed we have several Production Operative positions available
Shift Pattern:
3 shifts rotation Sunday to Thursday
Week 1: Day Shift - 5.00 -15.00
Week 2: Back Shift – 16.30– 2.30
What does the role entail?
· Work on the automated or manual production lines to make product according to the quality standards and customer specification.
· Carry out check weighing, metal detection, quality control duties and/or operate machines.
· Using automated machinery such as ovens, depositors, production lines as per safe systems of work (SSOW).
· Transfer of products, packaging, ingredients and equipment from one area of the factory to another.
· Ensuring safety in the workplace.
· Ensuring compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials and equipment.

You should be a team-player, be co-operative and have the ability to complete repetitive tasks in cold or hot environment. You should have good attention to detail, quality awareness and be willing to learn and develop. The starting rate is £12.75 per hour as a Production Operative. Should you take an interest in and/or have relevant experience in our Key Skilled positions you can increase your grade upon full training of the key skilled role.
