VACANCY – SHEQ Officer
Location: Morgan Marine Ltd, Llandybie, SA18 3GY
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000.00 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

THE COMPANY: Morgan Marine Ltd is a progressive company and market leader in the design, manufacture & installation of Steel and GRP housings amongst other diverse products. Our Primary client base includes the Utilities and Construction sectors. Morgan Marine Ltd is an ambitious, dynamic and professional organisation with over 60 years of manufacturing in the Carmarthenshire area.
THE ROLE: The role is in the SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Department, reporting to the SHEQ Manager. You will provide support for all SHEQ department activities as directed by the SHEQ manager ensuring compliance to legislative, regulatory and company requirements. The role will include carrying out and enforcing the requirements as laid out in the Quality Management System and continually monitor company operations and its adherence to Safe Working Procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS: This person will ideally have background of Health & Safety ideally within a manufacturing environment. Is willing to work towards external training, such as IOSH Managing Safely qualified, NEBOSH General Certificate, internal auditor. This person should be IT proficient and have a full, clean driving license. Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Performance driven and customer focused individual who is comfortable working within multi-disciplined teams. Training leading to Formal Qualifications will be supported for the right candidate, and those willing to learn.
