We are looking to recruit a full time experienced residential conveyancer to develop and expand our existing team in our Middlesbrough office.
The ideal candidates will need to be qualified solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives or Licensed Conveyancers with at least 3 years PQE and will be expected to assist in the expansion of the team’s caseload from local clients undertaking the whole range of residential and commercial property transactions.
We are a CQS accredited firm and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our continued accreditation with CQS.
The successful candidate(s) will have a proven track record of working in residential conveyancing and it is essential that the candidate(s) can demonstrate high standards of client care in order to retain and develop the department. The ideal candidate(s) will manage a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions to include:
- sales and purchases
- help to buy
- re-mortgages
- new builds
- lease extensions; and
- buy to let.
In addition, the ideal candidate will make an active contribution to business development, building and maintaining client relationships and promoting the services of the department and practice as a whole, together with generating new business amongst agents, brokers and other referrers.
Experience of freehold and leasehold commercial work is desirable but not essential.
