Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator with a strong background in the production of specialist and non-standard fasteners. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fanuc control systems and be confident in setting and operating CNC lathes to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate a fixed head CNC machine using Fanuc controls.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Produce high-precision, non-standard fasteners to customer requirements.
- Conduct in-process inspection using appropriate measuring equipment.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Fanuc control systems is essential.
- Strong background in producing specialist and non-standard fasteners.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
