Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team at Hi Tea. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in food safety and customer service will ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Beverage & Food Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of teas, coffee beverages, and food items according to Hi Tea’s established recipes and standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns with a friendly demeanor.
- Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Operate the POS system (specifically Aloha POS) efficiently for cash handling and customer transactions.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and dining areas. Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Time Management: Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory by monitoring stock levels of cups, lids, syrups, and ingredients, and reporting shortages as needed.
Pay: £8.00-£15.15 per hour
