If you have experience working with children in either a nursery, school or after school club we would love to hear from you. Enthusiasm is key as training can be provided.
If you are a nursery room leader or teaching assistant or have similar experience in another setting and are looking for an opportunity to develop your career we will work with you to further your goals.
Level 2/3 in Childcare or a similar qualification is essential due to working with EY children. Your qualification must meet requirements by Ofsted and allow you to work with EY children as an early years educator. Experience with SEN is an advantage but not essential.

We are a small friendly team providing quality childcare and fun experiences for pre school and primary school age before and after school. You will assist the Manager with the planning and delivery of high quality play experiences for the children in a safe and secure environment, both indoors and out.
Shifts are term time only at the following times:
Breakfast 7.30 - 9am (Friday)
After school 3pm - 6pm (Monday to friday)
We have two sites in the local Penketh area and being able to work across all sites at times of staff shortages is required.
Some admin hours may be required and time for meetings.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check which we will pay for, however you will be responsible for signing up and committing to the update service as part of your employment contract.
We will also pay for you to gain qualifications in Safeguarding/Child Protection, Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid if you do not already hold these certificates, this is essential training that must be completed in your first 12 months. Any certifications and qualifications already obtained will be required to be presented at interview stage.
