Are you a calm, caring, and resilient individual with a passion for supporting young people? We are looking for dedicated Days Support Workers to join our team at our warm and welcoming Children’s Residential Home in Plymouth. This position operates on 12-hour shifts, from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
We endeavour to create a home environment that exceeds the needs of the children and young people to help them feel safe and enrich their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusting relationships with children and act as a positive role model
- Support young people with daily routines, education, activities, and appointments
- Promote safeguarding and emotional well-being at all times
- Help to maintain a safe and fun environment for the children within the home and whilst out in the community
- Work as part of a team to implement individual care plans
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and homely environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Support Worker working with children or young adults
- A full UK driving licence with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- A willingness to work as a team and deliver exceptional care to those we support.
