Electrical / Mechanical Technician
Our established client, based near Stamford, is expanding their production team and is seeking Electrical/Mechanical Technicians. Applicants with practical experience are welcome to apply, even without formal qualifications.
The Role
As part of a dedicated production team, you will play a key role in the assembly/build of electrical and mechanical equipment. This is a hands-on workshop position requiring a proactive approach and physical involvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and building equipment using technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and production schedules
- Completing tasks accurately and efficiently to meet production targets
- Adhering to established processes and maintaining high-quality standards
About You
- Practical experience in electrical/mechanical work (workshop, maintenance, or industrial environments preferred)
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings or schematics (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Hours & Pay
- 38 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 2pm – Midnight (30-minute break)
- Pay up to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at 1.33x for the first 4 hours, then 1.5x thereafter
- 36 days annual leave
