We are looking for Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team working in a precision assembly environment.
This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working with small, intricate components and carrying out detailed assembly tasks. Previous experience in electronics assembly, sewing, model making, inspection or other precision based activities would be an advantage.
Location: Hastings
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Hours: Full time day shifts
Job Type: Ongoing temporary position
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate assembly of small components and intricate parts
- Follow detailed work instructions and production processes
- Work carefully with small components requiring good hand eye coordination
- Use magnification equipment where required
- Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify any defects or issues during the assembly process
- Maintain accuracy while working towards production targets
- Keep the workstation clean, tidy and organised
- Support other production departments when required
- Work effectively as part of a wider manufacturing team
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Good dexterity and fine motor skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and able to commit to full time hours
- A patient and methodical approach to repetitive assembly tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work to set processes
- Comfortable working with small components and detailed tasks
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience desirable but not essential
