We are currently recruiting caring, reliable and compassionate domiciliary care assistants to join our growing team.
The Role
As a domiciliary care assistant, you will travel to clients' homes to provide personalised care and support. You will build meaningful relationships with clients while helping them remain safe, comfortable and independent.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Support with meal preparation and nutrition.
- Prompt or administer medication in accordance with training and company policies.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with mobility and moving safely.
- Support with shopping, appointments and community activities.
- Complete care records accurately.
- Report any concerns regarding clients' health and wellbeing.
- Follow safeguarding, infection prevention and health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Caring, compassionate and reliable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred due to community-based visits.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
