Foot Mobile Engineering Supervisor
Location: Central London – West End & City
Salary: £48,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Contract: Permanent
Travel: Paid between sites
We are recruiting for an experienced Foot Mobile Engineering Supervisor to oversee and support a portfolio of approximately 10 commercial office buildings across Central London.
The portfolio is mainly located around Oxford Street, Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Circus, Piccadilly, Bond Street and Chancery Lane, making the sites easily accessible by public transport.
This is a hands-on supervisory position combining engineering, team support, client liaison and administration.
The Role
- Support engineers across approximately 10 commercial office sites
- Carry out and oversee PPM and reactive maintenance
- Provide technical support to engineers
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Assist with quotes and remedial works
- Complete engineering and contract administration
- Liaise directly with clients and contractors
- Ensure works are completed to the required standards
- Support static engineers when required
- Travel between sites across Central London
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and mobile engineering team
Requirements
- Strong mechanical engineering background
- Recognised mechanical qualifications
- Good electrical knowledge and experience
- Commercial building services/FM experience
- Previous supervisory or lead engineer experience
- Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
- Confident producing quotes and completing administration
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Comfortable travelling between Central London sites
