We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Nursery Cleaner to join our team at Balderton Nursery. This is an important role within the nursery, helping us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our children, families, and staff.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can consistently maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the nursery.
The successful candidate will be punctual, organised, enthusiastic, and able to work independently using their own initiative while following nursery cleaning and hygiene procedures.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly within a childcare, education, healthcare, or similar environment, although full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the nursery.
- Clean and sanitise play areas, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and communal spaces.
- Follow nursery hygiene and infection control procedures.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
- Report any maintenance or health and safety concerns.
- Work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Support the nursery team in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
