Job description
We are looking for an efficient, positive, friendly candidate to join our Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist front desk team to work 25 to 28 hours a week across Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday morning holiday cover.
Applicants must be flexible with working hours and days. Our chiropractic assistants have excellent communicative and interpersonal skills to balance the needs of the patient with those of the clinic. They are efficient in the multitasking of face to face and telephone customer service along with both computer based and paper administrative tasks.

- Candidates must have a proven employment history with a track record of reliability
- Must be prepared to work varying hours and days across our opening times
- Have no other firm commitments outside of domestic
- Live within the local area, have reliable transportation (essential for our early start times and any short-notice cover)
- Speak and write fluent English to understand instruction and communicate with patients
- Be keen to engage in fast paced training from day one
- Be comfortable with lone working and taking responsibility for the premises during early shifts & closing
- Have an interest in wellbeing and look after their own health
- Responsibilities
- Welcoming clinic patients and prospective patients using instructed, standardised clinic material and approach
- Managing the chiropractic reception appointments desk
- Proactively answer and refer all enquiries using essential scripted wording
- Adhering to the clinic systems to ensure the organised and efficient running of the clinic
- Managing accurate patient billing, invoices, payments and financial reconciliation
- Supporting management in the delivery of new ideas, processes and procedures
- Required Skills and Experience
- Have an energetic, upbeat, positive, confident manner
- Strong digital literacy, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Have proven experience in face-to-face and telephone communication
- Ideally have experience in the promotion of services
- Demonstrate a quick and accurate aptitude to learning
- Welcome training and embrace instruction and direction
- Be passionate about the importance of improving and maintaining wellness
- Strong demonstrated literacy and numeracy skills
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 27.0 per week
