Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Mould Maker/Laminator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be preparing patterns for mould making, applying gelcoats, tissue, VE and Ortho Resin layers, attaching frames etc. Mould making from start to finish.
Duties
- Apply laminating resins and fiberglass layers with precision during the moulding process
- Conduct inspections of completed moulds for defects or inconsistencies, making necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the workshop environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with construction painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance and durability of finished moulds
Experience
- Proven experience in GRP mould making or laminating within a manufacturing or workshop setting
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during production processes
- Familiarity with workshop operations, including safety protocols
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
