Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Duties
- Plan, organise, and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in accordance with nursery policies and early childhood education standards.
- Supervise and support children throughout their daily routines, including play, mealtimes, and rest periods.
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children's curiosity and independence.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily observations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and uphold high standards of childcare.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Assist with the organisation of nursery events and activities.
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene procedures are consistently followed.
- Support the management team in implementing policies related to child welfare and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst demonstrating initiative.
- Relevant childcare qualifications such as Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent are required
- Passionate about early childhood education with a caring and nurturing approach.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Pay: From £12,296.00 per year
