Help lead one of our neighbourhood cafés.
We're looking for a Café Supervisor (Assistant Manager) to join our Finsbury Park café.
This is a hands-on role in a small, close-knit team where you'll work alongside one or two other team members on most shifts. Rather than managing a large team, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the café—leading by example, delivering exceptional hospitality and helping create a welcoming neighbourhood café that people love returning to.
Working closely with the Site Lead, you'll help maintain high standards across coffee, food and service, support the development of the team and play an important role in the continued growth of the café.

What You'll Be Doing
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the café during your shifts.
- Delivering warm, friendly and genuine hospitality to every customer.
- Preparing and serving excellent coffee, food and drinks.
- Leading by example and supporting the team throughout the day.
- Helping train and develop new team members.
- Building relationships with our regular customers and local community.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
- Supporting stock management, deliveries and ordering.
- Opening and closing the café.
- Looking for ways to continually improve the customer experience.
We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Shift Leader or Assistant Manager within a café or hospitality environment.
- A confident and positive leader who enjoys working alongside their team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A passion for coffee, food and hospitality.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Someone who takes ownership and enjoys being part of a small team.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
