Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team ain Ambleside. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in on construction sites. Will require previous cleaning experience and a CSCS card. Ensuring that all welfare areas are tidy and welcoming. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including site offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as needed.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements and address any concerns promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment on a construction site.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for potential travel between sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
