Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our busy café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and food service, organised, and eager to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and efficient manner, providing excellent service at all times.
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, or light meals as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, including giving correct change.
- Restock supplies and organise workstations to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with general cleaning duties within the café to uphold health and safety standards.
- Contribute positively to team efforts by supporting colleagues during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
- Ability to serve customers courteously while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.

Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
