Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that all machinery and vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.
Duties
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and address any mechanical concerns promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- A relevant qualification or certification in mechanics or automotive technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
