Warehouse Operative / Order Picker
Location: Atherstone, Warwickshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate:
- £13.44 per hour (first 12 weeks)
- £14.93 per hour (after 12 weeks)
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives / Order Pickers for our client’s busy distribution centre in Atherstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for a long-term warehouse role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
You will be responsible for voice order picking, preparing orders, pallet wrapping, and general warehouse duties within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Shift Pattern:
- 5:00am or 6:00am starts
- Average 7–8 hour shifts
- 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)
- Full-time hours available
Duties Include:
- Voice picking using LLOP equipment (full training provided)
- Selecting products accurately to meet targets
- Pallet wrapping and preparing goods for dispatch
- Working safely in chill and ambient warehouse areas
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and own transport required
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable with manual handling and working in a physical role
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- No previous warehouse experience required – full training provided
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
