Wolfeton Manor is a small residential home in a village location, close to Dorchester.
We are looking for care staff who will share our values, to provide a high quality care service within our home and make a real difference to our residents.
We are looking for people who are caring, happy, friendly, can work both as part of a small team and independently. Perm, Part-time, or Bank day shift hours available
Will require working at least 1 shift every other weekend . Am and Pm shifts available
Requirements:
- Care experience is desirable, but not essential, but a caring, friendly nature is vital and full training will be given.
- You must be willing to complete a new advanced DBS
- Local or can drive/be driven as in a village location
Responsibilities:
- Assisting Residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating.
- Assist in the safe transferring, repositioning and movement of residents.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist and promote residents in daily activities, hobbies and pastimes.
- Observe, monitor and record residents physical and emotional well-being and report any changes.
- Accompany residents on group trips, on individual activities, or to appointments
- Attend on site training sessions and complete on- line training modules required for the role
