As the Marketing Assistant, you will be required to implement a wide range of marketing activities, providing a proactive, effective, and efficient service for our customers. The Role:
- Produce, prepare, and maintain data sheets to enable accurate sales presentations. This will require strong attention to detail, as it involves competitor analysis.
- Assist with the production and distribution of digital marketing assets such as imagery, videos, blogs, social media content, newsletters, and infographics.
- Create CSV data files to assist customers in adding products to their websites. This requires products to be managed and maintained to the correct standard across multiple websites.
- Research, draft, and distribute various content such as new products/services, product promotions, and exhibition updates through Mailchimp and LinkedIn.
- Assist with the maintenance of the GPC network of websites, including content creation, data updates, and general upkeep.
- Support the Marketing Manager with catalogue page design for the annual catalogue and any additional catalogues produced throughout the year. This also involves thorough proofreading.
- Help manage preparations for conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Occasionally visit the warehouse, where assembling products may be required.
Key Requirements:
- Specific qualifications are not required but are desirable. The candidate should have excellent spelling and grammar, with a keen attention to detail.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Ideally able to use software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva (although training will be provided).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and take responsibility for their successful completion.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Desirable experience using Shopify.
- A professional, proactive, and flexible approach to work.
