Join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming demeanor will set the tone for exceptional client experiences. Our team of fantastic receptionists are the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors. You would be managing appointments, handling inquiries and completing general administrative duties. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to animal health and client service excellence.
Duties
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
- Schedule appointments efficiently, accommodating client needs and clinic availability
- Manage phone calls, answering inquiries about services and booking appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records, updating medical histories and treatment details
- Previous front of house or veterinary experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while providing exceptional customer service
- A genuine passion for animals and dedication to supporting their health and well-being.
- 30 hours per week to include bank holidays and weekends on a rota basis
Pay: £12.75 per hour
