Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
This role requires excellent administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll data accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including leavers, salary changes, deductions, and contractual amendments.
- Actioning daily emails and general communication.
- Data entry on Microsoft and bespoke in-house systems.
- Calculate statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP, and other payroll-related payments.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation.
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner.
- Reconcile payroll reports and investigate discrepancies where required.
- Prepare payroll-related reports for management and finance teams.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and payroll data at all times.
- Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.
